Whether you’re a corporate executive, entrepreneur, actor, or even trying to find love through an online dating site, you need a high quality portrait to express yourself without words.

For $99 you’ll get a mini headshot session, a variety of images to choose from and two fully edited high-resolution digital files with right for use in publications, business cards, websites and social media sites. Gorgeous Senior Session | Lakes Region NH Senior Portraits | Meet Katie!

Meet Katie – an absolutely STUNNING 2016 Palmer High School senior. Katie is friends with Gabby, saw her Laconia, NH senior portraits and called me to do her senior photos. Both girls live in Massachusetts, and Katie asked if I’d be willing to travel to do her photos. She really wanted that classic park-like, natural look for her photos and we found a great location for her. Not only is Katie an accomplished dancer, a top student, and extremely involved in her school – she was a truly lovely lovely person and I had such a blast with her on her shoot. You can see just a few of the countless beautiful photos we captured below. Do you have a favorite location or an idea for a dream shoot for your senior photos? It’s never too early to contact me to book your session – especially if you want to make sure we do them during a particular season. That’s right, I’m shouting out to you snow bunnies!!!

Katie – I’m so happy you chose me to be your senior photographer! I hope you love your senior portraits as much as I loved taking them! Good luck in your future – you are going to do amazing things girl!!!

How would you describe yourself?
Very determined and meticulous. I like doing things the best that I can.

What has been your favorite high school memory so far?
My favorite high school memory was my trip to Costa Rica with some of my best friends. It was one of the best experiences of my life.

What college do you plan to attend? Do you know what you want to study?
I plan to go to Boston University and I’d like to study aerospace engineering!
Dickson1

What are your goals for the future?
I’d love to attend BU in the fall, and major in aerospace engineering. Ideally I’ll be accepted into the Air Force ROTC program and then go active for 4 years after college.
Dickson3

What band or musician could you listen to on repeat?
Ed Sheeran. (Photographers note: YESSSS!!!!)
Dickson1b

Let’s talk fashion…what’s your favorite current trend?
I am a big fan of riding boots even though I’ve never been near a horse.
Dickson4

What’s the best advice you’ve received?
Leaders have to be the first individuals to stand alone for what’s right, even in the most uncomfortable situations.
Dickson6

What’s your favorite quote and why?
“When people talk, listen completely.” -Ernest Hemingway
I think for our generation and kids my age, we do more talking than listening to each other and to be a good friend and to be better to others, you’ve gotta listen to what’s going on.  Listening one of the most important skills in life.

Laconia High School Senior Portraits | Meet Alyssa!

2016 is here! The bustle of the holiday season is done and with that means I get time to go back and blog the most amazing fall season I’ve ever had. I truly have to thank every one of my wonderful wonderful clients for a remarkable year filled with absolutely gorgeous photos. I can’t wait to see what this next year has to offer!

It’s cold, snowy, and blustery today – but I found myself thinking back to this super fun session we did with Alyssa in Alton, New Hampshire this past fall. She is one of the sweetest girls I’ve met – and reminds me of one of my best friends from high school, so her session felt especially personal to me. Add in that she’s involved with her high school drama club, and I felt like she was an extremely kindred spirit (channeling my inner Anne Shirley here 😉 ). Alyssa really liked the idea of heading over to Alton Bay and taking pictures in (yes IN!) and around the lake. I jumped at the opportunity because ever since I moved to the Lakes Region I wanted desperately to do a session in Alton Bay – it’s so quaint and pretty and perfect! We explored all around, and then at the end Alyssa was such a team player and hopped in the lake with me and did a fantastic job – while I ended up with my pants filled with water. Clearly I will do whatever it takes to get the shot! You can see Alyssa’s beautiful photos, including the lake shots, below.

How would you describe yourself?
I would describe myself as introverted, shy, creative, and competitive.

Desautelle1

How do you spend your free time?
I spend my free time reading, writing, and watching Netflix.

Desautelle2
What college do you plan to attend?
I am not sure yet of what college I am going to attend. I am looking at a couple far out, like in California, and a couple others closer to home.

Desautelle3

What is your FAVORITE item in your closet?
My favorite item in my closet is my scarves. I like how I can take a boring outfit and make it less plain by just adding a scarf.

Desautelle4

What are your goals for the future?
My goals for the future are to become a screenwriter, specifically, or to create my own TV series.

Desautelle5

What do you want to be remembered for?
While I would like to have a popular TV show, I also want to be remembered for making a positive difference, even if it’s only in the slightest way and only  for a couple people, or even one.

Desautelle6

Thanks again Alyssa for letting me capture your senior photos and for doing a great job at your session and creating some pretty fantastic photos! Also – I’d love to be a still photographer on set when you get your TV deal!!!

Meya’s Lakes Region, New Hampshire Senior Photo Session

Meet Meya! She heard about me through her friend, and 2016 Senior SpokesModel, Gabby. She reached out to me and I knew from her laid back personality we were going to have a blast and really make some great pictures. Meya wanted the complete senior photography experience, AND she was already familiar with my awesome makeup artist, Carissa, so we made sure to meet up at Carissa’s spa for some gorgeous makeup and hair perfecting before heading out for her photos. Meya is an awesome athlete and LOVES the outdoors so we headed up at her family’s lake house.

So what did I learn about Meya – besides the fact that she is a stunning model? This girl is a dedicated lacrosse and basketball player that has an awesomely eclectic music taste – or as she told me, “You can’t compare Bon Jovi with Beyonce it just doesn’t work!”. Truer words have never been spoken – but could you imagine how epic that pairing would be at the next MTV Music awards?!?!? Someone needs to get to work on that. And lastly that this girl is a dedicated, hard worker with goals…one day you’re going to call her Dr. Meya (PhD). I’m so glad we took the time to have fun and play before the hardcore studying and future planning starts. Check out some more about Meya and see some of our favorite photos from her session!

What are you looking forward to in your Senior year?
This year I am mostly looking forward to start my own path and create the life I have always wanted for myself.
Laconia_High_School_Senior_Photos_2

How do you spend your free time?
I spend my free time playing lacrosse and hanging out with friends, while of course getting my school work done.Laconia_High_School_Senior_Photos_5

College you plan to attend? Do you have any plans on what you think you’ll study?
Right now there are too many options to even narrow down! But one of my favorite schools so far is University Of New England. I’m planning to study Physical Therapy and work my way towards a doctorate degree.Laconia_High_School_Senior_Photos_3

What is special about your high school?
My high school is special because there is something for everyone to be apart of and  you can feel just as welcome on a sports team as you are in book club.Laconia_High_School_Senior_Photos_1

What’s your favorite quote and why?
My favorite quote is from Dr seuss and is “Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.”  This is because it was always the mindset I have had.Laconia_High_School_Senior_Photos_6

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
The best advice I have received is probably to live my life how i want and not what others think I want.Laconia_High_School_Senior_Photos_4

Meya it was such an absolute pleasure to take your photos. I know you are going to do awesome next year – and let me know when you’ve got your doctorate! No doubt by that time I’ll need the skills of a Physical Therapist from all the years of photography!
