I had a great time at my session with Mike, a 2015 senior. Mike decided he wanted an industrial/urban look to his senior photos so we searched out some locations that would offer that kind of feel. He is a skater so I asked him to bring his board with him so I could make sure to include his hobby into his senior portraits. He and his mom bought new wheels just before the shoot so we couldn’t get into any tricks, but I still think his images came out looking really great! It’s that time…can you feel it? The dog days of summer are just around the corner and before we know it fall will be here. That also means back to school time and arguably the most important year for a high schooler –  senior year! It’s an exciting time, an anxious time but also a really fun time. It’s also the perfect time to take your senior photos! These last days of summer give us some beautiful foliage and lovely warm sun – a beautiful canvas for your senior portraits. Then right around the corner, the crisp air and bold colors of fall will really help to make unique and creative senior pictures.  Here’s a sneak peek into a session I just finished up!

Unique Senior Photos | Meet Autumn | Laconia Senior Photographer

Just wanted to share a few images from Autumn’s unique senior photo shoot I had the privilege to photograph! She has a wicked sense of humor and it came out during our session. She’s also very passionate about all things theater – acting, production – you name it! I have to say this girl really impressed me with the head she has on her shoulders. Autumn plans to pursue her love of acting by attending college for theater, but first she’s going to both help out her family and save up money by taking a gap year to work for her family’s company. I love the full circle that she is going to be learning – the drive and work that she’ll get from working a job and applying those skills to when she’s studying at college and then reapplying them again once she graduates. Smart girl!
