Senior Photos with Personality – Amanda

Meet Amanda!

Amanda has to be one of the sweetest girls I’ve ever met, with the best sense of humor and just the prettiest eyes! She had personality for DAYS and it really showed in her pictures. We met up in Palmer to do her senior photos and then did some driving all over Western Mass. Amanda was open to any location for her senior portraits, so we decided to hit up some local spots first for a more funky/urban feel and then drive out to Mt. Holyoke College to get a more park/rural look. She really rocked her session, and we may have capped it off with some mini golf fun afterwards!

Remembering our veterans…and a studio note

Remembering our amazing service members this Veteran’s Day. Thank you to all those who have served and to all the families that support their servicemen and women.

Also a quick note – the studio will be closed the next week while I travel to Florida for some fun shoots. I’ll return emails and calls starting next week!

Ghouls and Goblins come out to play!

I had such a great time holding the Halloween mini sessions this past weekend!  There were some beautiful costumes, scary costumes and definitely all super creative costumes.  We managed to raise $225 for the auction!!!  Thank you again so much to all that came out to celebrate and support the WLNH Children’s Auction, and special thanks to Sunday Dearborn and Jump N Joy LLC in Laconia for hosting us.  Jump N Joy is a fantastic place to go play with the kids – especially on a dreary day.  Check out the webshow below to see all the cute kiddos!

 

I hope everyone had a fun and festive Halloween.  The rain definitely added a sense of spookiness and chill to the night (both literal and figurative!).  Despite that we had a blast.  My oldest decided our theme for this year (or more over, told us that we were in fact dressing in a family theme – and he assigned the costumes!). Sorry for the iPhone picture – it’s nearly impossible to get a family photo when *you* are the photographer!

It’s Not You, It’s Me…

You may have noticed the blog being a little bit neglected lately.  I promise it’s not you, it’s me…you see that wonderful, beautiful, fascinating miracle that I showed off in my last post has turned out to be a wonderful, beautiful, fascinating, diaper dirtying, sleep avoiding, trouble finding, 9 month old boy.

Introducing a New Little Bundle | NH Lakes Region Newborn Photographer

It’s been kinda quiet around here lately.  Well…on the blog.  Our house is a whole different matter because we’ve had a pretty vocal addition.

Introducing Connor Matthew Hough, born late January at 11 lbs even (yes you read that right) and 21 3/4 inches!
I just love those little lashes!I just want to eat those little tootsies!Big brother is a big fan of his new buddy – even if he pees on him, which is what happened two seconds after this capture!This face is the only thing that keeps me sane after the endless bouts of sleeplessness.  Oh my goodness those cheeks and lashes and lips and nose!  There is a reason they come out cute for sure!!!I did luck out by having a winter baby…it has allowed me to take an extended maternity leave which I am loving.  However I am returning from maternity leave in early April and am already taking bookings.  Get in touch if you want to schedule your family or children’s photo for this spring!  Also, I’m excited to hopefully announce soon a new offering…but more details on that later!  All good things to those who wait 🙂
